Have you ever thought about building your exhibition stand yourself? You may have just recoiled in fear as you read that, but would you ever consider it?
Most people would never even consider it, but around 40% of our clients have considered it and actually do it on a regular basis. It is a lot easier than you think. Once a scary prospect, today if you pick the right exhibition stand system you can self build with ease.
Take our very own system for example, it does not require any tools to assemble and no experience is needed. We even offer a full days training on your very own stand at our production facility. Also not relying on someone you do not know to assemble your stand and ensure it is perfect can be quite stressful; all that stress can easily be eliminated by self building.
Now I am not saying it is as simple as opening a box and five minutes later you will have a beautiful stand ready for the exhibition, then you can go for a few afternoon drinks. If only life was that easy. But with a little training you can expect to put up a small stand, around 9 square meters, in about an hour and taking it down will take half that time. This also means you don’t have to hang around for hours after the exhibition with aching legs to simply sign off the dismantle process.
Building your stand yourself is going to save you thousands of pounds. The average install and dismantle costs is £2,500 – £3,000 + VAT nowadays. Now take this figure and apply it to the 5 exhibitions you might be attending this year…there is a lot of money to be saved from this method of assembly.
There is another advantage of self building that most people do not think about. Because you have your stand ready to ship anywhere in the country at the drop of a hat, and you are not relying on someone else to be available to set up your stand, this means those last minute events that you just could not possibly attend before, have now become possible.
