Initial Brief
Daystate’s priority was to create a stand that balanced product accessibility with premium brand perception. The space needed to support hands-on interaction while ensuring displays remained secure and professionally presented.
A key consideration was the placement of the shop area. Positioned centrally at the back of the stand, it needed to feel integrated into the overall visitor journey rather than separate from the product experience.
The overall objective was to create a space that encouraged visitors to spend time exploring the range, engage with the team, and move naturally towards purchase opportunities.
Design & Planning
The 14 x 12 metre space-only stand was designed as an enclosed environment with clearly defined zones. This approach helped create a more immersive experience while still allowing plenty of room for movement and conversation.
Product displays were positioned on opposing sides of the stand, guiding visitors through the space and helping to distribute footfall evenly. Counters allowed products to be viewed and handled, while maintaining the necessary level of security.
At the rear of the stand, the meeting area and retail shop were strategically placed to support longer conversations and facilitate on-site sales. This layout created a logical progression through the stand, from initial interest through to deeper engagement.
Bold branding and back-lit logos added strong visual impact, ensuring the stand stood out in a busy exhibition environment while reinforcing Daystate’s premium positioning.
Build
The build process ran smoothly, with installation delivered to a high standard and in line with the planned schedule. The Daystate team provided excellent feedback on the overall experience, particularly highlighting the professionalism and organisation of their Plus Exhibition project manager.
The finished stand reflected both the quality of the design and the attention to detail during construction, ensuring a polished and reliable presence from the moment the show opened.
Results
Throughout The Great British Shooting Show, the stand attracted strong visitor engagement and remained consistently busy. The combination of accessible product displays, clear zoning, and a well-positioned retail area helped support meaningful conversations and visible sales activity on site.
The premium branding and considered layout reinforced Daystate’s market positioning while creating a welcoming environment for both existing customers and new prospects.
As with previous years, the modular nature of the stand means it can be reused for future exhibitions, with the flexibility to introduce refinements and updates as required.
